I have always been a drawer and loved graphite and ink, illustrating such things as the catalog of a seed company I once owned. My first experiments in color were with pencils but then I found artist’s pastels and began creating landscape paintings. This has been, at best, a hobby for years, but now that I am retired I will be spending more time on art. I recently starting working in acrylics and want to explore oils and watercolor.
I find inspiration in landscapes of the West but I appreciate a variety of subjects. I admire those that can make the common place come alive. I strive to develop that ability.
My work is available framed, clip framed, as prints and cards. Prices for originals are listed under the respective image in the gallery section of this website, and are either framed, clip framed, matted or unmatted. Large Prints are $20 and small $10. Contact me for details. You can also see my work at Art City in downtown Hamilton, Montana or at the Saturday Farmers Market.
